In this Algarve original art piece, I used dreamlike, expressive brushstrokes and colours that softly merge into one another, creating a feeling of time standing still, a moment to meditate and let things flow naturally. My intention was to evoke a sense of stillness and surrender, allowing the composition to take its own course.

I chose earthy tones to emphasize a mysterious, organic feel, shaping forms that suggest elements of nature without explicitly defining them. The background adds a perception of distance and depth, enhancing the three-dimensional quality of the artwork, while the foreground remains minimal in detail, leaving space for interpretation.

As an artist painting Algarve, I find inspiration in the quiet beauty of nature’s rhythms. This piece, recently signed and dated in 2023, marks another exploration in my journey as an Algarve artist, a reflection of both movement and stillness, where colour and form exist in harmony.
