As an Algarve artist, I created this piece to capture the essence of a mother’s love deep, nurturing, and endlessly giving. This Algarve original art harmonizes that maternal warmth with the innocence of a rosebud, still waiting to bloom. Through this oil painting, I wanted to express the delicate beauty of touch, using soft brushwork to create the velvety texture of the unfolding petals. Each layer of the red rose emerges with grace, embodying both tenderness and strength.

As an artist painting in the Algarve, I am constantly inspired by nature’s vibrant contrasts.
