As an Algarve artist this painting holds a deeply personal meaning, it reflects the journey of renewal, of returning of the essence. Created with textured layers and expressive brushwork, this emerged from a place of transformation, shaped by a filtering and cleansing process that unfolded both on the canvas and within myself.

The delicate bloom at the centre, unfolding in soft pastels and surrounded by fluid, deep blues, symbolizes emergence, from quiet reflection into awakening, from pause into presence.

I wanted to capture the essence of vulnerability and strength coexisting, much like the cycles we all move through. The soft blending of white, lavender, and blush tones represents purity and healing, while the intense blues bring in depth, grounding the piece in emotion and contrast.

As an artist in Algarve my surroundings inspire me, the sea, the sky, the rawness of nature. This painting reflects that ever-evolving dance between inner change and outer beauty.
